Алмазный фонд

Гора самоцветов, имеющих историческую и художественную ценность. Коллекцию стали собирать по указу Петра I.

Самый известный экспонат — Большая императорская корона. В рекордные сроки, всего за два месяца, мастера оправили в серебро 4 936 бриллиантов и 75 жемчужин. Украсил корону ярко-красный кристалл — шпинель. Главный символ власти российских монархов, весом почти в 2 кг, возлагался на головы всех императоров начиная с Екатерины II. Один из самых статусных экспонатов — бриллиант «Орлов», украшающий скипетр Екатерины Великой, купленный для нее графом Орловым, — самый крупный в Алмазном фонде и один из самых дорогих в мире. А найден алмаз в Индии, где, как предполагается, он был глазом Будды.

Настоящей жемчужиной расположенного в Вене Музея искусств признана картинная галерея, в которой представлены произведения живописи XV-XVII веков. Здесь можно увидеть много известных шедевров таких авторов как Дюрер, Рубенс, Тициан, Рембрандт, Гольбейн, Рафаель, Кранах, Караваджо.

Все экспонаты галереи разделены по таким основным направлениям:

• Фламандская живопись привлекает, в первую очередь, полотнами Питера Рубенса с его пышнотелыми красотками. Здесь же и известные творения Якоба Йорданса, ван Дейка.
• Голландский раздел показан немногими, но очень яркими шедеврами живописного искусства. Это аллегорические произведения Яна В.Дельфтского, картины Рембранта ван Рейна, Г.Терборха.
• Наиболее обширной является подборка полотен немецких художников. Ренессансная эпоха представлена шедевральными творениями многих мастеров кисти, среди которых Альбрехт Дюрер, Кранах Старший, Г.Гольбейн. Здесь помещён образ «Поклонение всех святых Троице», написанный Дюрером.
• Впечатляет собрание живописи итальянских авторов, среди которых находятся потрясающие полотна «Мадонна в зелени» Рафаэля, «Лукреция» Веронезе.
• Испанский раздел галереи живописи в Вене порадует портретами династии королей кисти Веласкеса.
• Живопись Англии и Франции представлена довольно слабо.

Экспонаты

В Венский музей истории искусства экспонаты были перевезены из других сокровищниц Габсбургов. Так, из Кунсткамеры, расположенной в Пражском Граде, были перевезены в Вену некоторые картины, собранные императором Рудольфом ІІ. Бесценные полотна стали самой живописной экспозицией Kunsthistorisches Museum.

Из замка Амбрас были доставлены полотна собранные эрцгерцогом Фердинандом ІІ. Леопольд-Вильгельм, будучи губернатором Южных Нидерландов, покупал картины на аукционе в Брюсселе. И со временем собрал самую обширную и содержательную коллекцию полотен выдающихся мастеров живописи — Рубенса, Тинторетто, Тициана, Ван Эйка и других. В музей истории искусств свезли знаменитые полотна и прочие произведения из многих замков, дворцов, картинных галерей, принадлежащих Габсбургам.

Австрийцы смогли сохранить свои бесценные сокровища во времена Первой и Второй мировой войны. Экспроприированные в 1918 году экспонаты музея были переданы государству. Особенно сильно здание музея истории искусства пострадало во время Второй мировой войны. Однако жители Вены смогли позаботиться об удивительных произведениях искусства. Они предусмотрительно вывезли и спрятали бесценные сокровища мировой культуры непосредственно перед началом войны. Музей истории искусств в Вене возобновил свою работу десятилетия спустя после окончания Второй мировой войны, в 1959 году.

Wes Anderson and Juman Malouf

In 2012, the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna initiated a new seriesof exhibitions for which remarkable creative individuals are invited to present their own personal selections of objects drawn from the museum’s historical collections. The museum’s collections number more than four million objects, and span a period of five thousand years. The first exhibition, titled The Ancients Stole All Our Great Ideas, was selected and curated by the painter and draughtsman Ed Ruscha. This was followed in 2016 by the exhibition During the Night, selected and curated by the British ceramicist and writer Edmund de Waal.

The third instalment of the series, has been selected and curated by the filmmaker Wes Anderson and his partner, the writer and illustrator Juman Malouf. With assistancefrom the museum’s staff of curators and conservators, Anderson and Malouf have assembled more than 400 objects drawn from all fourteen of the museum’s historical collections. Among them are Egyptian, Greek and Roman antiquities, Old Master paintings, selections from the Kunstkammer and the Imperial Treasury, items from the Imperial Armoury, Coin Collection, and Collection of Historic Musical Instruments, as well as pieces from the Theatermuseum, the Weltmuseum, the Imperial Carriage Museum, and Schloss Ambras Innsbruck. A handful of special guests from the Natural History Museum are also included. Particular attention was given to the museum’s storage: more than 350 of the objects have been brought from depots, with many of them on public display for the very first time. The result is titled Spitzmaus Mummy in a Coffin and other Treasures. The gathering and arrangement of these treasures – from the earliest, a necklace of ceramic beads strung together in Ancient Egypt, to the most recent, a wooden monkey carved in Indonesia almost 5,000 years later – suggest the spectacular breadth, depth, history and complexity of the Kunsthistorisches Museum’s collections.

The exhibition is a collaboration between the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna and the Fondazione Prada. The exhibition will be presented at the Fondazione Prada, Milan, from autumn 2019. It is curated by Wes Anderson and Juman Malouf, with assistance from Jasper Sharp (Kunsthistorisches Museum) and Mario Mainetti (Fondazione Prada). It is accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue with text contributions from Sabine Haag, Jasper Sharp and Wes Anderson.

Biographies

Wes Anderson was born in Houston, Texas. His films include Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Moonrise Kingdom, and The Grand Budapest Hotel. His latest film, Isle of Dogs, came out in 2018.

Juman Malouf was born in Beirut, Lebanon and grew up in London. She has designed and illustrated for theatre, film, and fashion in the US and Europe. Her first novel, The Trilogy of Two, was published in 2015.

«Als Ich Can»

The exhibition presents three of the circa twenty extant works by Jan van Eyck, offering a glimpse of the art produced during the reign of Duke Philipp the Good, when the Burgundian Low Countries witnessed a unique flowering of courtly and urban civilisation.

Jan van Eyck (c.1390-1441), the favourite court painter of Philipp the Good, duke of Burgundy (1396-1467), is celebrated for his virtuosity in the use of oil paint and his skill in combining naturalism and realism with brilliant colours. Already regarded as an epoch-making artist by his contemporaries, he was soon renowned throughout Europe as the founder of Early Netherlandish painting.

Jan van Eyck was one of the first artists north of the Alps to sign and date his works. His use of a motto is remarkable. In the early fifteenth century, it was highly unusual for a painter – then still regarded as a mere craftsman – to have his own device, something reserved for the dukes of Burgundy and the nobility. Jan van Eyck chose AΛΣ · IXH · XAN as his motto and generally inscribed it in pseudo-Greek letters; it is, however, in Dutch and means “as I can” or “as best I can” as in “as best I can, not as I would”, which is presumably meant to imply the artist’s modest appreciation of his own work.

Jan van Eyck produced his Madonna at the Fountain in 1439, two years before his death. His virtuoso handling, the brilliance of his colours in the newly-perfected medium of oil painting, and his subtle brushstrokes turn this devotional picture into a perfect masterpiece.

This exceptional loan from the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp engendered this exhibition, in which the two panels by Jan van Eyck are juxtaposed with the highlights of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna’s collection of Early Netherlandish painting.

Also on show is the Chasuble from the vestments of the Order of the Golden Fleece, the influential order of chivalry founded by Philipp the Good in 1430. Normally displayed in the Imperial Treasury, it represents the exquisite textile arts that played such a seminal role in the legendary splendour of the court of the dukes of Burgundy. This uniquely sumptuous liturgical vestment is couched and embroidery all over in gold and coloured silk threads, making it many times more expensive than paintings. 

The Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna’s exhibition was organised in collaboration with Flanders (www.flanders.at), which will honour this great Early Netherlandish master in 2020 by organising a number of exhibitions and events in Ghent.

Die Führung stellt ausgewählte Gemälde von Dürer, Cranach und weiterer Zeitgenossen vor, wobei ein besonderes Gewicht auf ihre Entstehungsumstände und Zweckbestimmungen gesetzt werden. Aussagekräftig ist dabei die Kleidung der dargestellten Personen: Bildnisse der Auftraggeber und ihrer Angehörigen etwa können vom Familienstand der Dargestellten künden, den materiellen Reichtum zur Schau stellen und den tatsächlichen oder erhofften gesellschaftlichen Status demonstrieren. Здание музея поистине грандиозно. Сооружение в виде треугольника венчает пышный купол диаметром шестьдесят метров. Внутри находится девяносто один музейный зал, не считая подсобных помещений. Перед величественным и прекрасным зданием находится большая ухоженная лужайка, на которой растут кустарники, искусно подстриженные в форме кругов, цилиндров и тому подобное.

Они разбросаны по лужайке, нет нагромождения зеленых насаждений, что придает пространству перед музеем весьма изысканный, элегантный вид. Масштабное здание само по себе достойно восхищения, что уж говорить о собранных в нем сокровищах искусства.

Египетский зал музея

Помимо всем известных саркофагов вы можете увидеть на фотке ещё две египетские колонны. Обе вытесаны в так называемом стиле папируса.

Греко-римская часть экспозиции

Римские бюсты. Римляне, в отличие от греков, уже стремились к портретному сходству. Ну чем не фото в паспорта! Некоторые такие же страшные. А по центру стоит легко узнаваемый кудрявый бюст по плечи Марка Аврелия, императора-философа.

Древнегреческие амфоры

Эти амфоры старше христианства! Понятное дело, что рисунок на них восстанавливали и подновили. Однако за такой почтенный срок они выжили! И ведь никто не создавал для них специальных условий. Что-то заставляет меня сомневаться, что современная пластмассовая утварь сможет прожить хотя сто лет.

Mit dem literarischen Audioguide GANYMED, basierend auf den beiden theatralischen Projekten Ganymed Boarding und der europäischen Erweiterung Ganymed goes Europe von Jacqueline Kornmüller und Peter Wolf, haben Besucherinnen und Besucher die Möglichkeit, sämtliche Texte und Kompositionen, die im Rahmen dieser Projekte bisher zur Aufführung gelangten, gesprochen und musiziert von den jeweiligen SchauspielerInnen und Musikern nachzuhören, und sich so auf eine literarische Entdeckungsreise durch die Gemäldegalerie zu begeben.Wir möchten Sie einladen, sich mit Hilfe dieses Literatur Audio Guides ungewohnte Sichtweisen auf Alte Meister zu eröffnen und ein ungeahntes Zusammenspiel von Malerei und Literatur zu erleben.

Если вам интересны самые известные музеи, то посетите Музей естествознания. Здание выполнено в стиле ренессанса. Оно очень гармонично смотрится с музеем истории искусств. Открыт эти два заведения в один и тот же год. В музее естествознания представлены природные экспонаты, принадлежащие дому Габсбургов. Это заведение располагает тридцатью девятью залами, в которых находятся растения и животные, вымершие пару веков назад. Здесь собрано более трех миллионов экспонатов. Большинство из них были привезены из различных уголков земного шара. Первый этаж умещает экспозицию, посвященную всевозможным представителям фауны. Знаменитыми экспонатами являются скелет диплодока и чучело стеллеровой коровы. На втором этаже находятся геологические экспонаты. Это коллекция редчайших драгоценных камней, коллекция минералов, полезных ископаемых. Есть осколки метеорита и крохотная статуэтка Венеры Виллендорфской.
